Peabody Firefighter James M. Rice Funeral 12/30/11

Peabody Firefighter James M Rice was laid to rest in a moving ceremony that unfolded in the downtown streets of Peabody Massachusetts on December 30, 2011. Firefighter Rice died while operating at a 3 Alarm house fire on Hancock St. in Peabody on December 23, 2011. Firefighter Rice was an eleven year veteran of the force and was remembered as a true hero by his fellow firefighters. The funeral was attended by hundreds of firefighters from around the country. Residents from Peabody lines the streets of the procession route to show their respect to the fallen firefighter. Firefighter James Rice will be truly missed.
